Another aspect of the miniatures hobby is modeling. Modeling includes everything from basing your miniatures to assembling multi-part miniatures to converting existing miniatures or creating your own from bits and pieces of several models. Even making scenery or terrain is a form of modeling.
Modeling allows you to add your own touch to models in order to make them stand out from the crowd, whether that be by adding details to the models themselves or by creating unique bases.
